It has been decided to close the following hiking trails in Skaftafell due to wet ground/risk of damaging the nature.
 
  • Skaftafellsheiði and Kristíndartindar (S3 og S4)
  • Trail along Eystragil Eystragili (S5)
  • Trail along Austurbrekkur to Sjónarnípa (S6)
