Interpretive activitesThe park rangers of Vatnajökull National Park offer short walks with an emphasis on the guest's personal experience of nature and the environment. Note that such programs vary in different parts of the park. On the left you will find the programs within different areas.
From mid-June to mid-August, rangers guide daily interpretive walks at Ásbyrgi and Skaftafell.
In the highlands, most ranger stations offer daily interpretive walks or other personal presentations from early July until mid-August.
Participation is free of charge unless otherwise stated. Further information is available in visitor centers and from rangers.
